While we deeply value our global programs at ORM, we are still inspired by our local genetics community! ORM genetic counselors, Serena Talcott Baughman and Emily Mounts, along with Dr. Barbieri, hosted an event for 20 genetic counselors from several different clinics and laboratories in the Portland metro area. It was fantastic to host a community event and connect with colleagues from prenatal, pediatrics, cancer, and adult genetics specialties who we rarely see, but with whom we share so many common goals.
